Substitute Teacher

Grow Public Schools (GPS) is seeking a Substitute Teacher to provide an effective classroom environment, teach, and implement lessons in the absence of teachers at Grow Academy. The Substitute Teacher will be expected to follow lesson plans and work collaboratively with other teachers, the Learning Lab staff, and Edible Schoolyard instructors.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree
• A CA Teaching credential or substitute teaching permit
• Demonstrated mastery of classroom skills including classroom management, planning, and instructional practice
• Proficiency with various technologies and teaching tools
• Bilingual ability preferred
