Repairs, installs, and performs preventive maintenance on production equipment to ensure good operable condition. Troubleshoots and repairs electrical and mechanical equipment, including A/C and D/C electrical equipment. Uses safe working practices and adheres to company policies and regulations.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 2 years of industrial maintenance/electrical experience
- Certified for PLC programming (Allen Bradley or equivalent)
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal electric codes
- Ability to read and make proper installations of complex electrical circuits
- Ability to disassemble, repair, and reassemble gearboxes, fans, conveyors, blowers, compressors, pumps, valves, and allied mechanical equipment
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing oven combustion and safety devices
- Possess working knowledge of hydraulic, compressed air systems, and pneumatic conduit, cables, piping, and tubing
- Ability to read complex diagrams and troubleshoot systems
- MIG/TIG/ARC welding equipment experience
- Gas & Plasma cutting equipment experience
- Power tools experience (e.g., drill presses, cut off saw, lathes, mills, and table tools)
- Electrical test equipment experience (e.g., voltmeter, megger, ammeter, diode, and SCR tester)
