Proposal Engineer

We are looking for a Proposal Engineer to drive European Industry project proposals from initial customer request to submission, ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will have a degree in Engineering or Project Management, 4-8 years of relevant experience, and strong technical knowledge of rotating equipment installation.

Requirements

• Degree level or experience equivalent in either Engineering or Project Management
• 4-8 years of relevant experience in a similar role
• On site experience with rotating equipment installation
• Advanced knowledge of tendering procedures
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, engineering specifications, and contracts
• English proficiency
• Experience quoting projects in a technically complex environment on time, cost, and quality
• Good business and technical understanding with advanced communication skills
• Knowledge of rotating equipment preferably centrifugal pumps, and contract negotiations
• Familiarity with project competencies - technical expertise, finance, logistics, contracts, quality, Health & Safety, ISO norms, export regulations
• Stakeholder management skills across borders and at all levels
• Experience with Blender, AutoCAD/CAD Programs
• Experience with SAP, Office package
• Ability to travel regularly
