We are looking for a Proposal Engineer to drive European Industry project proposals from initial customer request to submission, ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will have a degree in Engineering or Project Management, 4-8 years of relevant experience, and strong technical knowledge of rotating equipment installation.
Requirements
- Degree level or experience equivalent in either Engineering or Project Management
- 4-8 years of relevant experience in a similar role
- On site experience with rotating equipment installation
- Advanced knowledge of tendering procedures
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, engineering specifications, and contracts
- English proficiency
- Experience quoting projects in a technically complex environment on time, cost, and quality
- Good business and technical understanding with advanced communication skills
- Knowledge of rotating equipment preferably centrifugal pumps, and contract negotiations
- Familiarity with project competencies - technical expertise, finance, logistics, contracts, quality, Health & Safety, ISO norms, export regulations
- Stakeholder management skills across borders and at all levels
- Experience with Blender, AutoCAD/CAD Programs
- Experience with SAP, Office package
- Ability to travel regularly
