Senior Health and Safety Specialist

We are looking for a Senior Health and Safety Specialist to lead and manage the site's Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs ensuring compliance with all regulatory and corporate standards. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in engineering and a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in health and safety.

Requirements

• Lead and manage site EHS programs ensuring compliance with OSHA, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and corporate standards.
• Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments, investigate accidents/incidents, perform root cause analysis, and ensure timely closure of corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver safety training, new hire orientation, and foster a proactive safety culture across the plant.
• Serve as the site Emergency coordinator, develop contingency plans, lead emergency drills and maintain accurate EHS records and regulatory reports.
• Lead safety committee, harmonize EHS policies, and partner with HR and Corporate EHS on workers' compensation and compliance programs.
