This is an exciting opportunity to join GSK's Asia Biostatistics group in Singapore and play a key role in advancing healthcare through innovative statistical methodologies. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to model, analyse and interpret a wide range of human data, including from clinical trials, to ensure robust evidence supports decision-making across drug development.
Requirements
- PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science including life sciences research with major quantitative modelling component.
- Min 5 years of experience of data analysis and modelling in life sciences.
- Hands-on experience applying a broad array of foundational statistical methodologies, including but not limited to: Bayesian methods; causal inference; predictive modelling; neural networks; SVM; penalized regression; random forests or similar
- Highly proficient in R or Python and highly computer and digitally literate, including use of LLMs
- Knowledge of, or interest, across multiple aspects of drug development, e.g., drug discovery, translational science, pre-clinical and clinical development, interventional and non-interventional research
- Good communication and influencing skills, curiosity, passion for patients
- A strong sense of initiative, urgency, drive, pragmatism and judgement – overall an ability to make things happen
