Job Description
This position involves the safe and effective construction of scaffolding for various projects, maintaining safety regulations, and adhering to project instructions. The role requires a strong understanding of OSHA regulations, rigging hardware, and effective communication with all parties involved.
Requirements
- Site inspection and layout of areas requiring scaffolding
- Knowledge of OSHA Regulations
- Knowledge of tube and clamp, pin lock, cup lock scaffolds construction
- Knowledge of system scaffolds
- Must have own scaffolding tools (ratchets, sockets, wrenches, hammers)
- Proper access and egress requirements
- Ability to work under extreme weather conditions
- Ability to follow scaffold building instructions
- Ability to acquire and maintain a government I.D.
- Ability to communicate effectively with scaffolding crew and other departments
- Ability to work under deadlines and schedule pressures
