The Cloud Engineer is responsible for managing, troubleshooting, licensing, and updating Azure & M365 cloud environment. Key responsibilities include operating and optimizing cloud-native infrastructure, managing Azure identity and access, implementing governance policies, and monitoring and optimizing Azure resource performance and cost.
Requirements
- University degree in IT or related field (or currently studying)
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, CKNA/CKA/CKAD for Kubernetes) or willingness to obtain during probation
- Proven experience operating Microsoft Azure environments with strong PaaS and containerization knowledge
- Hands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and container orchestration
- Solid understanding of Linux administration in cloud contexts
- Familiarity with multi-cloud principles (AWS/GCP) is a plus
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and automation tools (Terraform, Bicep, Ansible)
- Strong PowerShell and Bash scripting skills, ideally having software engineering background
- Proficiency in operating containerised workloads (deployment, scaling, monitoring) and experience with Azure networking, security, and governance
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to lead assigned small operational initiatives and drive process improvements
- Analytical mindset for optimizing cloud operations
- Self-motivated and eager to learn emerging cloud technologies
