Job Description
The Accountant II is a full-time position supporting the Senior Accountant and assisting with daily accounting and financial reporting. This role involves daily bookkeeping, monthly closes, journal entries, financial statement analysis, and collaboration with other Finance and Operations departments. The position requires excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic.
Requirements
- Baccalaureate Degree or Associate Degree
- Two to three years of experience in account reconciliation
- Experience in the healthcare industry (preferred)
- Knowledge of healthcare operations, month-end closing, and cost allocations
- Familiarity with PeopleSoft/Oracle and EPIC (plus Excel & Word skills) Report writer experience helpful.
