Job Description
The Exercise Physiologist will provide quality cardiac rehabilitation care to patients, supporting the development and implementation of a comprehensive Phase I ‐ III program. The role involves patient and family involvement, program development, quality improvement, and problem-solving. Responsibilities include exercise prescription, patient education, collaboration with nurses, and documentation. Participation in continuing education and adherence to departmental policies are key.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited four ‐ year Bachelor’s degree program in Exercise Physiology / Physical Education or related field.
- Experience developing safe exercise prescription and education for the cardiac patients.
- Knowledge of patient safety & data documentation guidelines.
- Experience with EPIC (Electronic Picture Exchange and Reporting System).
