Job Description
The Ophthalmic Technician provides advanced ophthalmic assistance to healthcare providers, assisting with patient care and performing various diagnostic and procedural tests. The role requires a detail-oriented, self-motivated individual comfortable working under pressure and troubleshooting problems. It involves daily office routine, travel, and participation in clinical activities. The technician will also assist with a variety of procedures and assists in documenting findings.
Requirements
- Obtain and document accurate patient history.
- Perform ophthalmic exam and procedures.
- Assist with laser and surgical procedures.
- Maintain and clean ophthalmic exam room and equipment.
