Job Description
This phlebotomist I position involves collecting blood and other specimens from all patient populations using various procedures, ensuring accuracy, skill, and customer service. Duties may include phlebotomy, specimen transport, specimen delivery, specimen registration, and emergency response. Medical terminology knowledge and a valid driver’s license are essential.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Computer keyboard skills
- Completion of a phlebotomy training program or equivalent experience (desired)
- Medical terminology knowledge (preferred)
- Valid driver’s license (required)
- Accurate patient identification and specimen labeling
