Job Description
Guthrie Medical Education Programs is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide patient care in the Emergency Department. The role involves assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care, ensuring adherence to GCMC compliance standards. The position requires adherence to policies, continuous learning, and teamwork. Nurses are responsible for medications, safety, and patient education.
Requirements
- Current NYS license to perform as a registered professional nurse
- Current BLS-CPR certification required (or within first 30 days of employment)
- Specialty Unit - Maternity – Neonatal Resuscitation Certification within 6 months of employment
- Specialty Unit - ICU- ACLS within 6 months of hire
