Job Description
The Registered Nurse (RN) in the operating room (OR) provides professional nursing care to patients, ensuring safe and compassionate delivery of quality care. Responsibilities include managing patient care plans, advocating for patients' autonomy, facilitating learning, and aligning practice with evidence-based guidelines. This role requires compliance with the Nurse Practice Act and state/local standards of practice.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse in the State of Practice
- BSN in Nursing preferred
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (NLRN Program, previously obtained), or an effective contract for one, expiring on or after the date of employment
- At least one year of experience as a Registered Nurse
- BLS certification
- ACLS is unit dependent
