Job Description
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional, comprehensive nursing care for patients in an acute care environment, following the Nurse Practice Act and ANA code of ethics. The RN is responsible for the delivery of safe, compassionate, and evidence-based care, advocating for patients, and facilitating learning in a team environment. This role requires BLS certification, ACLS (unit dependent), and ABLS (unit dependent) certification.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse in the State of Practice
- BSN preferred
- BLS certification
- ACLS (unit dependent)
- PALS (unit dependent)
- Minimum one year of experience (with prior BSN or NLRN status)
- Must meet individual unit specifications
- Maintain BLS certification
- ACLS is unit dependent
