Job Description
This full-time Respiratory Therapist position is within the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Responsibilities include ventilator treatment, cardiac care, and patient monitoring. The position requires expertise in growth and development, learning respiratory care skills and assumes a medical assistant role for bronchoscopies and general orientation. Requires current licensure in New York State.
Requirements
- Recognized by National Board for Respiratory Care or similar.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist or Certified Respiratory Therapist license in the state of practice.
- A.S. or A.A.S. degree from a COARC accredited program.
- Current licensure in the state of practice is required.
