Job Description
The Respiratory Therapist will perform respiratory therapy treatment modalities, assess patients, intervene in cardiac and respiratory emergencies, and provide care to all age groups. The role emphasizes patient-driven protocols, utilizing mechanical ventilation, endotracheal intubation, and airway maintenance. Responsibilities include documentation, interdisciplinary collaboration, and maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.
Requirements
- Graduate of a CoARC approved Respiratory Therapy Program
- Pass the Registered Respiratory Therapist exam
- BC (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
- Respiratory Therapy license in state of practice
- NBRC RRT certification (required)
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, S.T.A.B.L.E preferred
- Clinical experience (1 year preferred)
- Must be able to multitask and prioritize
