Job Description
The Security Officer - Safety & Security - Per Diem position ensures the safety and security of Guthrie's campuses by patrolling buildings and grounds, responding to requests for assistance, and reporting incidents. Applicants must have a NYS Security Guard Card and Valid Drivers' License.
Requirements
- NYS Security Guard Card
- Valid Drivers' License
- Classroom training in a field relevant to security functions
- High School Diploma or GED equivalency
- One or more years' experience in institutional security
- Working knowledge of state and federal security regulations
- Excellent communications skills
