Associate Underwriter

Burns & Wilcox is looking for an Associate Underwriter to join their team. The role involves underwriting and supervising a book of business, supporting renewal and new business development, and achieving full underwriting authority.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 2+ years of Underwriting support or industry experience with excess and surplus lines
• Demonstrated proficiency and previous experience in sales and marketing
• Proven organization skills and ability with a strong attention to detail
• Interest in continued education and professional development to obtain full underwriting authority
• Technologically savvy and data driven
