Job Description
HackerEarth is looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET-1) to join our growing QA team. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in QA Automation or SDET role and be proficient in at least one programming/scripting language.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in a QA Automation or SDET role
- Good grasp of testing methodologies, defect lifecycle, and QA best practices
- Proficient in at least one programming/scripting language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java)
- Hands-on experience with automation frameworks for UI and/or API testing
- Exposure to tools like Selenium or Playwright
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD systems such as GitHub Actions or CircleCI
- Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
- A startup mindset, comfortable owning responsibilities end-to-end and working in fast-paced environments
