Senior Procurement Category Manager Metals (m/f/d)

Join our Sourcing department and play a key role in selecting the best suppliers and optimizing our supply chain. As a Senior Procurement Category Manager Metals, you will develop and implement sourcing strategies, manage policies and processes, and monitor the raw materials market.

Requirements

• University degree in business management, supply chain management, or equivalent
• 10+ years of experience in a category management position in the field of metal raw materials
• Fluency in English and ideally in German
• Knowledge of SAP and category strategies
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills
• Ability to collect and analyze information, solve problems, and make decisions
• Interpersonal and communication skills to establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers
• Ability to analyze and evaluate complex situations, anticipate potential challenges, and develop long-term plans
