Hajoca Corporation is seeking a Counter Salesperson at their Methuen, MA location. The ideal candidate will have 1+ years' experience in customer service or counter sales, knowledge of products sold, and excellent communication skills. They will assist customers, process sales orders, and work with the Profit Center Manager to establish revenue and margin targets.
Requirements
- 1+ years' experience in customer service or counter sales
- Knowledge of products sold in the Profit Center
- Possess a proper and valid driver's license
- Demonstrate outstanding customer service, verbal communication, and listening skills
- Keep an up-to-date and comprehensive knowledge of products
- Be able to build and maintain a positive working relationship with customers, vendors, and co-workers
- Be able to ask probing questions to understand customer needs
- Know of, be able to apply and practice safety precautions in a warehouse and material handling environment
- Be able to learn to operate warehouse material-handling equipment
- Be able to learn to operate and demonstrate hand tools
- Be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Be able to learn and operate the computer-related systems used to process orders
- Read, write, speak, and understand English
