Hardware Operations Technician

We are seeking a motivated and high-performing Hardware Operations Technician to join our team in New Zealand, supporting the maintenance and performance of Halter’s on-farm hardware infrastructure.

Requirements

• Infrastructure Maintenance: Oversee the upkeep and repair of Halter’s infrastructure to ensure seamless operations.
• Hardware Diagnosis: Diagnose any issues with our hardware and feed this information back to the relevant team.
• Versatility: Ability to transition smoothly between tasks, from repairing and upgrading infrastructure to delivering towers and collars as needed.
• Deployment Support: Provide critical on-site support during farm deployments if needed, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring successful installations.
• On-call: Be part of the global on-call roster to support tower-related incidents and proactively find solutions in a timely manner.
• Collaboration: Work closely across all of the Halter teams to ensure alignment and successful customer outcomes.
• Problem-Solving: Address and resolve technical challenges promptly and effectively, ensuring minimal disruption to farm operations.
• Adaptability: Be prepared to manage a variety of tasks, often simultaneously, to meet the dynamic needs of the role.
• Data Analysis: Ability to collect, interpret, and analyze data from our hardware, optimize processes, and inform decision-making.
