Vice President, Head of Distribution, Hamilton Select

Hamilton Select is seeking a dynamic Wholesale E&S Distribution Leader to accelerate our distribution strategy, strengthen broker partnerships, and amplify Hamilton's presence in the market.

Requirements

• Prior underwriting experience is required.
• Strong background in the E&S/Wholesale market with a comprehensive understanding of industry dynamics.
• Established and respected relationships with Wholesale/E&S brokers.
• Ability and willingness to travel 50–75% of the time.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and strategic thinking capabilities.
• Strong leadership, entrepreneurial mindset, and ability to foster a collaborative environment.
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
• Demonstrated ability in analyzing, organizing, and presenting information in a clear and succinct manner.
• Demonstrate strong executive presence with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to effectively and professionally interact with internal constituencies and Broker partners.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrates an understanding and capacity to effectively engage in the negotiation process.
