Job Description
Hamline University is seeking a tenure-track faculty position in biological anthropology to begin Fall 2026. The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in Anthropology or a closely related field and be able to enhance the program's strengths in applied anthropology, community-engaged research, and climate studies.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Anthropology or a closely related field
- Experience with biocultural approaches in anthropology
- Ability to teach a wide variety of classes in biological anthropology
- Commitment to teaching excellence
- Record of supporting students from diverse backgrounds
- Active and productive research agenda
- Interest in engaging in shared governance and providing service to the college, university, and community
