Call for applications - Area Manager

Humanity & Inclusion is seeking an Area Manager to contribute to the implementation of the mandate and 10-year strategy of Handicap International in one of its 50 country programs around the world. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team, launching and developing emergency interventions, and ensuring the optimal quality and impact of projects implemented in the country.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional experience in Area/Field/project management in challenging humanitarian contexts
• Proven experience in managerial and security management
• Experience in donor relations, external relations, fundraising, and strategic positioning
• Ability to design and coordinate complex emergency interventions
• Strong management and communication skills
• Fluency in English (oral and written)
• Autonomy and reactivity
• Willingness to travel frequently and work in remote, insecure areas
