Job Description
Harbinger is seeking a Commodity Manager - CapEx to shape the direction of commodity strategies, both near-term and long-term. This role involves designing, developing and implementing strategic sourcing initiatives, negotiating contracts, and serving as the initial point of commercial escalation. The company focuses on transforming the EV industry with its best-in-class team and innovative platform.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in technical, supply chain or finance discipline; Masters or MBA preferred.
- 7-10+ years of overall experience in Purchasing/ Supply Chain management, including strategic sourcing, contract negotiation and supplier management in target commodities or related industry.
- Strong knowledge of pricing models and industry trends.
- Demonstrated ability to identify process issues and drive improvements.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Highly organized and demonstrated ability as a strategic thinker.
- Strong knowledge of assigned commodities, relevant technologies, and main cost drivers.
