Assembly Mechanic

This Assembly Mechanic role is primarily responsible for assembling ground support equipment, particularly towing tractors by performing dash repairs. The position involves diagnosing mechanical issues, performing repairs, inspections, and record-keeping. Instructional lead on assembly processes is also a part of the responsibilities.

Requirements

• Diagnose mechanical problems and perform repairs
• Diagnoses, rebuilds and repairs vehicles and equipment
• Performs inspections and preventive maintenance of vehicles and equipment
• Prepares and maintains records and reports
• Use current methods, materials, tools and techniques for vehicle repair and maintenance
• Follow written and verbal instructions
• Follow safety practices
• Physical ability to lift, stand, walk, and work in various environments
