Job Description
Hawaiian Electric Companies is seeking a Supervisor, Substation - Maui. This role involves supervising and directing the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of substation equipment. The position requires a candidate with strong leadership and communication skills, along with a passion for safety and community. They also require a valid driver's license.
Requirements
- Thorough knowledge of substation systems construction, operation, and maintenance.
- Basic understanding of substation and utility safety practices.
- Ability to read, understand, and enforce contractual agreements.
- Valid State of Hawaii driver’s license and certification.
- 5-7 years of experience as a Substation Electrician
- 8-10 years as substation designer or 2-3 years as substation field engineer
- Professional Engineering license is desirable.
