Job Description

The Senior Accountant role plays a pivotal role in managing financial reporting, streamlining account reconciliations, and leading the training and development of junior accounting staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
- Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in the construction or contracting industry
- Strong financial analysis skills with experience in streamlining close and reconciliation processes
- Demonstrated ability to train, lead, or mentor accounting team members
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Viewpoint Vista, Sage, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, macros)
- Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- High attention to detail, integrity, and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
