Clinician - Intellectual Disability & Mental Illness

The Clinician performs a variety of individual, family and group therapeutic interventions utilizing evidence-based practices. The position manages a caseload of clients identifying therapeutic, rehabilitative and case management needs, engaging other team members in meeting these needs as indicated.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Human Services field
• Valid Indiana driver's license
• FSSA/DMHA-approved credentials for Clinicians providing counseling with an OTP
• Knowledge of psychiatric/addiction diagnoses and understanding of their impact on behavior and all life domains
• Knowledge of psychotropic medications and their uses and side effects
• Ability to use age-appropriate communication skills
• Crisis intervention skills
• Experience and training to safely manage therapeutic services to patients and to provide therapeutic services to patients receiving Opioid treatment medication
