Job Description
We are seeking a Medical Account Receivable Representative to join our team. As a Medical Account Receivable Representative, you will be responsible for telephone insurance carrier/patient to seek resolution on account, resolve inappropriate payments, and coordinate duplicate billings. You will also identify trends in payer non-compliance and negotiate with payers.
Requirements
- 1 year of Medical AR work
- Thorough knowledge of multi-specialty ICD-9 and CPT coding
- Billing and collections (both major insurance and self pay) experience
- EMR Knowledge
- Medicare Knowledge
