Medical Appeals & Denials Specialist

HealthCare Support Staffing, Inc. is seeking a Medical Appeals & Denials Specialist to handle the full cycle process of figuring out why a claim was denied and researching what needs to be done to get it into the appeals process. This role requires critical thinking skills, experience with claims, appeals, and denials, as well as billing knowledge and proficiency with various web applications and Excel spreadsheets.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience in claims, appeals, and denials
• Experience in hospital and/or physician background
• Billing knowledge, including Commercial Insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, ICD 10, CPT Codes, and various billing forms
