Performs collections and assists with duties including questions, escalations, etc. Must have strong knowledge of commercial insurances and medicare collections.
Requirements
- A minimum of three years in position within the Medical Collections department of a medical facility, handling MEDICARE collections for at least two years.
- Computer literacy in a Windows environment, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, as well as proprietary systems expertise.
- Excellent attendance record.
- Excellent quantative and qualitative results.
- Existing peer recognition as a “go-to” team member.
- Demonstrates support and knowledge of all Hoveround policies and procedures.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior collections leadership (Supervisor/Senior/Lead) experiences a plus.
- Prior medical experience a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Strong motivation and initiative.
