Job Description
This Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) position at Shaunavon Hospital and Care Centre is part-time and focuses on providing initial assessment, treatment, and stabilization of ill or injured individuals at the Basic Life Support level. The technician will adhere to Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) core values, clinical protocols, and standards. They will also be responsible for providing care with strict adherence to Saskatchewan College of Paramedics guidelines.
Requirements
- Response to emergent and non-emergent EMS calls
- Initial assessment, treatment, stabilization, and transport of ill or injured persons
- Adherence to Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) core values, policies, and work standards
- Adherence to Saskatchewan College of Paramedics (SCoP) Paramedic Clinical Practice Protocols
- Compliance with applicable legislation and regulatory guidelines
- Ability to perform the duties of the position.
