Job Description
This is a Hospital Tech I position focused on assisting nurses in patient care. Responsibilities include answering phones, recording vital signs, performing duties like bathing and feeding, and assisting with patient transport and treatment preparation. The role requires performing duties based on current clinical needs and may involve exposure to various physical and environmental conditions.
Requirements
- Answers patients' signals and communicates request to pertinent individuals.
- Performs bath and hygiene measures, feeding and other activities of daily living.
- Participates in the care of the patient by lifting, turning, and repositioning the patient.
- Helps prepare patients for treatments, exams, procedures, and assists with/chaperones procedures.
- Escorts and or transports patients and equipment.
- Assists with/chaperones procedures as appropriate.
- Requires occasional exposure to unpleasant or disagreeable physical environment.
- High school diploma/GED.
