Senior Software Engineer

HealthJoy is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their team. The role involves enhancing AI SaaS solution, scaling highly distributed systems, and improving engineering practices. The team uses microservices architecture, cloud design patterns, and AWS platform.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building and shipping scalable applications in Python
• Good understanding of software design principles and industry practices
• Experience with and knowledge of best practices for implementation of AI-assisted tools for process optimization and improved development workflow
• Familiarity with AI Lean methodologies
• Track record of developing on backend libraries such as Asyncio, Aiohttp, Flask, SQLAlchemy, or equivalent
• Experience with relational databases (we use Postgres)
• Previous experience with data processing and manipulation workflows and implementation is a plus
• Experience working in an event-driven architecture and the utilization of microservices where applicable
• At ease in the AWS ecosystem, working with a cluster architecture (we utilize Kubernetes)
• Experience participating in the architecture and design of new and existing products
