The Surgical Technician provides technical assistance to physicians during surgery, preparing instruments, stocking the operating room, and monitoring equipment. This role involves patient care under supervision and adherence to infection control practices. The technician is responsible for quality patient care and ensures the surgical environment is safe and sterile.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of a Surgical Technician program (eligible for certification)
• BLS certification
• Minimum of 1 year of direct experience preferred
