Surgical Technologist (CST), Methodist Hospital

Methodist Hospital is seeking a Surgical Tech (CST) to join their surgical team. The role involves practicing under the guidance of a Registered Nurse in an autonomous and collegial manner, integrating clinical thinking skills and demonstrating practical knowledge of surgical instrumentation. Weekly rotations and potentially weekend shifts are common.

Requirements

• Must be certified through one of the following Surgical Technologist Certification Programs
• NCCT (or NCCT Certification obtained within 1 year of hire) at time of hire
• Maintenance of Certification required throughout employment
• Practical knowledge of basic surgical instrumentation and equipment
• Demonstrated knowledge of aseptic technique and sterilization methods
• Currently validated CPR skills (preferred)
