Surgical Technologist, Operating Room

Join our Operating Room team as a Surgical Technologist in a Level I Trauma Center. The Surgical Technologist functions as an active member of the surgical team, assisting with preparation of the O.R. suite, gathering equipment and instrumentation, and maintaining a sterile field of instruments and supplies during procedures.

Requirements

• Completion of a surgical technologist training program
• Completion of national certification exam offered by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA), or National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) within 12 months of hire date
• CPR certification required at time of employment and every two years thereafter
