Healthy Kids Programs is seeking a dynamic Director to lead their After School Program for the 2025-2026 school year. The Director will be responsible for guiding compliance, bringing fun activities to the kids, managing the program, and maintaining open communication with parents and staff.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Child Development, Elementary Education, Physical Education, Recreation, or a related field; and two years of direct experience working with children less than 13 years of age, including at least one year in a supervisory capacity in a child care program or related field of work.
- New York State Children’s Program Administrator Credential; and two years of direct experience working with children less than 13 years of age, including at least one year in a supervisory capacity in a child care program or related field of work.
- School-Age Child Care Credential or another office-recognized credential specific to the school-age developmental period; and two years of direct experience working with children less than 13 years of age, including at least one year in a supervisory capacity in a child care program or related field of work.
- Two years of college with 18 credits in Child Development, Elementary Education, Physical Education, Recreation or a related field; and two years of direct experience working with children less than 13 years of age, including at least one year in a supervisory capacity in a child care program or related field of work.
- Medically fit to rock all the job duties and free of any communicable diseases including TB.
- Warm, friendly, and upbeat. Exceptional people skills are your jam, whether it's with kiddos, parents, or fellow team members.
- Professional, reliable, and always prompt.
- Ready to bend, stretch, lift, carry (up to 50 lbs.), and basically do whatever it takes to keep up with energetic kiddos!
