Early Childhood Lead Teacher-Montessori School

We are seeking a Head Teacher with DCF credentials to work with 0-6 year old preschool children in various classroom settings, following Montessori Methodology. The Lead Teacher will oversee academic programmatic aspects and provide direct teaching to children in small teacher-child ratios.

Requirements

• Experience as an early childhood teacher for the preschool aged children (0-3 certification/ 3-6 and 6-9 certification)
• DCF staff certificate required to work with preschool aged children ; director credential a plus!
• Ability to work well with families and other team members.
• Montessori certification or ability to train and get certified-immediately.
• Complete understanding and ability to implement all regulatory processes.
• Participate in parent and staff meetings pertaining to programs you serve.
• Participation in grant(s)/ professional programming- we will train you if you are interetsed.
• Participation in programmatic planning for summer programs.
• BILINGUAL (English-Spanish language) a plus but English Proficiency is Necessary!
