Job Description
Hearst Television is seeking a Local News Producer to create impactful newscasts for its Westbrook, ME, and Portland, ME, affiliates. News directors often have a hands-on approach, making decisions and influencing the direction of stories.
Requirements
- Professional or college producing experience
- Experience working in a newsroom
- Writing and copy-editing skills
- Experience summarizing information into easy-to-understand components
- Creative presentation style
- Highest journalistic integrity and ethical standards
- Availability for holidays, shifts, nights, weekends, and flexible schedules
