Job Description
Hearst Television is seeking a Local News Photographer to capture the essence of events and bring them vividly to viewers. The role involves shooting, editing, and executing live shots, including newscasts, with a focus on journalistic integrity and professionalism. This is a full-time position based in Rogers, Arkansas.
Requirements
- Training in the art of video photojournalism
- Professional or college experience in a newsroom
- Up to 50 pounds of equipment
- Experience with ENG trucks
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Computer and software experience (Adobe Premiere, Precis, CNN platforms)
- Ability to organize and prioritize
- Unwavering journalistic integrity and ethical standards
- Dealing with stress and pressures of newscast production
- Military experience considered
