Job Description
Hearst Television is seeking an Anchor/Reporter to bring energy to the anchor desk, combining credibility, poise, and personality with the ability to head out into the field and break news. This role involves scripting, reporting, interviewing, and managing stories, as well as contributing to mobile platforms. The position is part of the ABC affiliate in Rogers, AR.
Requirements
- Deliver scripted and ad-lib material professionally and personally.
- Guide reporters and producers in newscast production.
- Develop stories by compiling and gathering news from various sources.
- Coordinate with news managers and producers to develop stories.
- Work on different stories at once and meet deadlines.
- Summarize information into understandable components.
- Experience with mobile transmission devices.
- Valid driver's license.
- Upright and ethical work ethic.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and shift work.
