Associate Producer

Hearst Television (HTV) in the Orlando market is seeking a Part-Time Associate Producer to assist in producing news broadcasts. The role involves writing and producing stories, researching information, and creating graphics. This is an opportunity for someone with strong writing and organizational skills to build a new career in the newsroom, potentially graduating into a Newscast Producer position.

Requirements

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Solid news judgment and passion for news
• Ability to manage multiple projects
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Knowledge of ENPS is a plus
• Familiarity with the Orlando DMA
• Work varied hours, holidays, overnights, weekends, and during severe weather situations
