Job Description
The Times Union is seeking a District Manager to manage and administer requests for proposals (RFPs), provide recommendations, and oversee operations for their newspaper and partner organizations in the Capital Region of New York. This role involves budget management, contracts, and maintaining excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, detail-oriented, and experienced in managing large workloads.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of related experience
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, NCS, and internet services
- Proficiency in contract administration and negotiation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Valid NY driver’s license, operable vehicle, and current auto insurance
- Must have a valid NY Driver’s License and auto insurance
