Platform Engineering Lead

They are looking for a Platform Engineering Lead to design, build, and evolve the core platform(s) and tooling that power their software products, bioinformatics workflows, data deliveries, and machine learning systems.

Requirements

• Architecting, developing, and maintaining core platform components, services, and infrastructure
• Partnering with cross-functional teams to translate scientific, product, and engineering needs
• Ensuring platform reliability, security, performance, and compliance
• Leading improvements to CI/CD, environment automation, observability, and system scalability
• Contributing to long-term platform and technology strategy
• Establishing and championing engineering best practices, coding standards, and platform governance
• Mentoring engineers, fostering cross-team collaboration, and supporting knowledge sharing
• Taking on engineering management responsibilities of the platform/devops team
