Job Description
Hedgeye Risk Management is seeking a dynamic Equity Research Analyst to join their Software sector coverage. This is a high-impact role to shape investment decisions, drive research, and influence the direction of a growing franchise. The role involves leading research initiatives, building financial models, and presenting insights to clients and colleagues. The analyst will also collaborate on data platforms and mentor junior analysts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA, CFA, or equivalent advanced credential preferred
- 2–4 years of experience in equity research or investment analysis
- Strong understanding of the software sector
- Deep understanding of the financial modeling skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to extract insights from data and create visualizations
- Experience with SQL, Python, R, or Jupyter Notebook
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- High emotional intelligence and self-awareness
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
