The Rural Technician in Livestock will provide comprehensive technical assistance to producers in the assigned area, promoting good livestock practices and strengthening the sustainable management of local organizations. He will facilitate participatory training processes, promote strategic alliances, and ensure technical follow-up, systematization of results, and timely delivery of reports.
Requirements
- Graduate in agricultural engineering or related careers to the agricultural sector
- Minimum Three (3) years of experience and solid knowledge in livestock management
- Knowledge of the national and/or local livestock problem, management of livestock farms, and mastery of the School of Field methodology and day of field development
- Experience in technical assistance, management of strategic alliances, and work with families in social development projects
- Knowledge of organizational schemes (cooperatives, associations, and local groups) and skills to strengthen community participation
- Basic handling of Microsoft Office tools (Word and Excel) for the preparation of reports and technical records
- Reside in or near the area of influence of the project and be willing to travel to rural areas and attend field activities continuously
- Own motorcycle with valid license (non-negotiable requirement)
- Experience in driving in rural areas
