Job Description
Heitman is seeking a strategic and results-driven VP of Asset Management to oversee and optimize the performance of a client’s multifamily portfolio. This role involves managing a diverse real estate portfolio, implementing asset management strategies, evaluating performance against targets, analyzing data, and leading financial decisions. The ideal candidate will be collaborative and passionate about driving value across diverse assets.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of professional real estate experience with at least 5 years actively asset managing multifamily assets.
- Proven ability to define, develop, and execute asset management strategies.
- Experience leading disposition efforts and supporting financing/refinancing transactions.
- Strong understanding of value-add strategies.
- Deep knowledge of budgeting, financial reporting, and performance analysis.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Advanced financial modeling skills.
- Experience with construction and redevelopment terminology.
